Seamus Smith, J.D., LL.M. |
| Seamus Patrick Smith is an attorney with the Will & Trust Center
and practices in the areas of estate, business and tax planning.
Using an array of techniques, he helps clients protect the
well-being of their families and shield their wealth from taxes,
probate and creditors. Seamus speaks frequently on estate and tax planning topics and has been quoted in articles by numerous publications, including the Kansas City Business Journal, Investment News and Ingram's. He has also taught business and tax law for the MBA programs of Benedictine College and the University of Saint Mary. Seamus was selected as a 2012 Rising Star by KC Business Magazine. Seamus received a B.A. from Benedictine College, a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law and a LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He is active in the Overland Park South Rotary Club and is a member of the Children’s Mercy Hospital Planned Giving Council and the Kansas City Estate Planning Society. Seamus resides in Overland Park, Kansas, with his wife and daughter. |
